Our Case Studies show real-world examples that demonstrate how SIVONIC’s electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) technology delivers value across research, development, and industrial operations. EIS provides deep insights into electrochemical systems—whether batteries, fuel cells, or modern electrolyzer units—by revealing conditions and degradation mechanisms that remain invisible to conventional measurement methods.

These examples illustrate how precise impedance measurements help detect performance losses early, identify aging effects, enhance quality assurance processes, and support the optimization of operating strategies. Each use case offers a practical perspective on how our technology is applied to improve reliability, efficiency, and decision-making across a wide range of applications.

The collection serves as both inspiration and guidance, showing how advanced EIS diagnostics open the door to new levels of data quality and system understanding—empowering users in development, production, and field operation to make more confident and informed decisions.

H2i GreenHydrogen has integrated a high-performance multichannel EIS system from SIVONIC into its test bench to precisely analyze and optimize AEM stacks from the individual cell to the overall system. The high-resolution impedance data with 30 parallel measurement channels enables rapid identification of cell-to-cell variations and provides a sound basis for performance evaluation and condition monitoring.
