EFCF 2025 launched - SIVONIC brings EIS diagnostics live to Lucerne

  • Konferenz, Messe

Today saw the official start of the European Electrolyser & Fuel Cell Forum (EFCF) in Lucerne, which runs until July 4. SIVONIC is present with high-precision impedance spectroscopy on single cells and full stacks - and Managing Director Hannes Benecke is enriching the EIS tutorial today with his practice-oriented contribution.

Today marks the official start of the European Electrolyser and Fuel Cell Forum (EFCF) in Lucerne — the most important European platform for low-temperature fuel cells, electrolysers, and hydrogen technologies, taking place from July 1 to 4, 2025. The morning opening ceremony was accompanied by a packed tutorial program, which also featured our Managing Director Hannes Benecke sharing his valuable insights. He participated in today's hands-on EIS tutorial — a highlight for everyone deeply involved in electrochemical impedance spectroscopy.

As an exhibitor, we are showcasing our latest EIS meter technology at booth B04. These precise in-situ measurements enable real-world diagnostics on both single cells and full stacks under realistic load cycles and temperature conditions. Our approach goes beyond purely theoretical models: with data-driven insights into aging, material behavior, and efficiency, we support the targeted development of durable systems.

EFCF offers much more than presentations and poster sessions; it also includes an international exhibition featuring innovative measurement systems, materials, and turnkey solutions, with free admission for both academia and industry. The atmosphere in Lucerne’s KKL halls is defined by intensive networking, professional exchange, and dynamic innovation — precisely where theory meets practice.

For us, EFCF is more than just a trade fair: it is a global marketplace where research and industry come together to advance green technologies — in line with the conference motto: “Accelerating society decarbonisation by advancing and scaling‑up green hydrogen ecosystem and related carriers.”

Looking ahead to the coming days, we are excited about engaging technical discussions, live demonstrations at stand B04, and personal exchange with partners and specialists.

Visit us — we’re live and setting the benchmark for impedance spectroscopy!
