At the show, SIVONIC will present its multichannel impedance analyzers for electrolyzers and fuel cells. By measuring individual cells and cell groups synchronously under operating conditions, differences within a stack can be identified and compared directly.
This provides developers, manufacturers and operators with significantly deeper insight than a measurement of the overall stack alone.
A particular focus will be on the complementary use of DRT and HRA.
DRT — Distribution of Relaxation Times — helps separate overlapping electrochemical processes according to their characteristic time constants.
HRA — Harmonic Ratio Analysis — adds information on nonlinear system behavior.
Combined with cell-resolved multichannel measurements, these methods enable a more detailed view of local deviations, degradation effects and operating-state changes within the stack.
