36 channel impedance spectrometer

Improved multichannel impedance spectrometer enables simultaneous measurement of 36 cells or cell groups

Expansion of the Multi-Channel Impedance Spectrometer to 36 Channels

The multi-channel impedance spectrometer has been expanded to a total of 36 channels. With this new configuration, it is now possible to measure the impedance spectra of up to 36 individual cells or cell groups simultaneously and in sync.

This innovative enhancement enables significantly more detailed analysis of electrochemical systems—especially battery cells, fuel cells, or supercapacitors—during real-time operation. By capturing all measurement channels at once, differences within larger cell stacks can be precisely identified, and potential deviations or anomalies can be detected at an early stage.

A key advantage lies in the improved temporal resolution of the data: dynamic changes caused by aging, thermal stress, or mechanical effects can be documented and analyzed without delay. This not only increases the informational value of the measurements but also enhances efficiency in development, quality assurance, and monitoring of complex energy storage and conversion systems.

With the expansion to 36 channels, the spectrometer becomes a powerful tool for research, development, and industrial applications in the field of electrochemical characterization.
