EIS for SOFC sinter monitoring

Impedance spectroscopy for quality control in the sintering process.

The application of impedance spectroscopy is not limited exclusively to development laboratories for SOFC fuel cells. In fact, it has been shown that impedance spectra can also be used successfully for quality control of the joining process, especially the sintering process. This finding opens up a wider range of applications for impedance spectroscopy beyond traditional fuel cell development. The ability to monitor the quality of the joining process using impedance spectra offers significant advantages for various industrial applications, particularly in relation to the manufacture and quality assurance of components in energy technology and other areas.
