Impedance Spectrometer V08

Impedance spectrometer V08 for fuel cell stacks and electrolyze stacks with DC currents up to 1000 A.

The progressive development of fuel cells and electrolysis cells implied the need to record the impedance spectrum under load conditions or varying operating parameters. This approach made it possible to gain fundamental insights into the reaction mechanisms and transport processes within these electrochemical systems.

The applied electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) during operation provided significant insights into the dynamics and efficiency of the reactions within the fuel cells and electrolysis cells.

The fundamental revision and specific adaptation of the V08 impedance spectrometer for large fuel cells and electrolysis cells with DC currents up to 1000 A DC has made significant progress in meeting the requirements of these complex systems.
