Accessories for pouch cells

Electrochemical impedance spectroscopy (EIS) had increasingly established itself as a quality measuring instrument in production-related quality control. In this context, there was also a need to determine the impedance spectrum of battery pouch cells, as these were used in a variety of applications, particularly in portable electronic devices and electric vehicles.

However, it was found that the conventional measurement setup could cause measurement errors, which affected the accuracy of the results. To solve this problem, a special battery pouch cell adapter was developed. This adapter enables quick and precise adaptation of battery pouch cells to the impedance spectrometer and at the same time reduces the possibility of measurement errors to a minimum.
